The agreement between you and Castglo Ltd for use of the CastGlo platform.
1About CastGlo
CastGlo is an online platform designed to connect stakeholders within the entertainment industry, including talents, casting directors, agencies, service providers, and educational institutions. Users may create profiles, upload portfolios, publish opportunities, and communicate. CastGlo acts solely as a digital platform facilitating connections between users and does not guarantee employment or bookings.
2Eligibility
Users must be legally capable of entering into binding agreements. The Platform is generally intended for users aged 18 years or older. For minors, parents or guardians must create and manage accounts. Identity verification may be required.
3User accounts
Users must provide accurate information when registering. Users are responsible for account security, all account activity, and keeping information current. False information can result in suspension or termination.
4Platform moderation
All profiles and casting calls may be reviewed or approved by CastGlo before publication. Approval does not constitute endorsement and legitimacy is not guaranteed.
5User content
Users may upload photos, videos, portfolios, resumes, casting descriptions, and service listings. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the legal rights to upload such content. By uploading, users grant CastGlo a worldwide non-exclusive licence to host, display, distribute, and use the content for platform operation and promotion, including marketing materials.
6Direct messaging and applications
Users may communicate with one another via the Platform and apply to casting calls. Users must maintain professional and lawful communication and cannot harass others.
7Subscription services
Some Platform features may require a paid subscription. CastGlo may offer monthly subscriptions and annual subscriptions. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
8Refund policy
Subscription payments are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not refund current periods.
9Commission structure
CastGlo may charge commission when a job or engagement is successfully booked through the Platform, or a professional service advertised on the Platform results in a successful engagement. Users cannot circumvent the Platform to avoid commissions.
10Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe. Payment processing is subject to Stripe’s own terms and privacy policies. CastGlo does not store full card details.
11Prohibited conduct
Users must not post fraudulent calls, impersonate others, upload infringing content, harass or discriminate, engage in scams, or bypass subscription or commission structures. Violations result in suspension or termination.
12Intellectual property
All intellectual property relating to the Platform, including branding, design, software, and content created by CastGlo, remains the property of Castglo Ltd. Users cannot reproduce or distribute without permission.
13Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CastGlo shall not be liable for loss of business or income, missed opportunities, disputes between users, or user-generated content. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law.
14Account suspension
CastGlo may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms, misleading information, or platform misuse.
15Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
