Safeguarding policy

We are committed to protecting children and young people from abuse, exploitation, grooming, harassment, bullying and inappropriate contact.

Anyone under the age of 18 is treated as a child for safeguarding purposes and may be subject to additional safety and privacy measures.

Where a safeguarding concern conflicts with commercial interests, audience engagement or competition activity, safety will always take priority.

Castglo may apply additional safeguards to accounts belonging to young performers, including:

• Parent or guardian involvement.
• Age and identity verification where appropriate.
• Enhanced privacy settings.
• Restrictions on adult-to-child messaging.
• Additional controls around livestreaming and casting opportunities.
• Monitoring and review of concerning activity.

Adults using Castglo must always maintain appropriate professional boundaries when communicating with young performers.

We do not tolerate grooming, sexualised communication with children, requests for inappropriate images, coercion, exploitation or attempts to encourage a child to hide communication from their parent or guardian.

If you see or experience behaviour that makes you concerned about the safety of a child or another user, please report it through Castglo's reporting tools where available.

Please provide as much relevant information as possible, but do not put yourself at risk or unnecessarily download or share harmful material.

Castglo may take immediate action where we believe someone may be at risk.

This may include:

• Removing content.
• Restricting messaging.
• Ending a livestream.
• Suspending or permanently removing an account.
• Preserving relevant information.
• Notifying a parent or guardian where appropriate.
• Referring serious matters to the appropriate authorities where required or necessary.
