Reporting

If something doesn't feel right, tell us.

Everyone should be able to participate in Castglo Live without being abused, exploited, threatened or deceived.

If you see content or behaviour that breaks our Community Guidelines — or simply raises a serious safety concern — report it. You do not need to be the person directly affected to make a report.

Where a Report option appears on Castglo, use it. Until then, report a concern by email and include as much detail as you reasonably can.

  • Inappropriate sexual content.
  • Child safety concerns.
  • Grooming or suspected child exploitation.
  • Violent or dangerous content.
  • Suicide or serious self-harm content.
  • Scams or fraud.
  • Fake casting opportunities.
  • Impersonation.
  • Privacy violations.

2How to report

Where a Report option appears on Castglo, select it and choose the reason that best describes your concern.

You may be asked to provide:

  • The account involved.
  • The content, performance, message or livestream concerned.
  • The reason for your report.
  • Additional information that may help us understand what happened.

Please provide as much relevant information as you reasonably can. Do not put yourself at risk to collect evidence.

3Reporting a child-safety concern

Reports involving anyone under 18 are treated with particular care.

Report immediately if you see or suspect:

  • Sexual communication with a child.
  • Grooming.
  • Requests for sexual images.
  • An adult attempting to arrange inappropriate private contact with a child.
  • Threats or blackmail involving a child.
  • Child sexual exploitation or abuse.
  • Attempts to persuade a child to hide communication from a guardian.
  • Other behaviour that could put a child at serious risk.

Do not download, copy, forward or redistribute suspected child sexual abuse material in an attempt to report it. Report the account or content instead.

Castglo may preserve relevant information and make reports to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

4What happens after I report something?

We assess reports according to our Community Guidelines, safety policies and applicable law.

Depending on the situation, we may:

  • Review the reported content or account.
  • Review related activity where appropriate.
  • Remove content.
  • Restrict communication or other features.
  • Stop a livestream.
  • Remove fraudulent votes.
  • Issue a warning.
  • Suspend an account.
  • Disqualify a contestant.
  • Permanently remove an account.
  • Preserve relevant evidence.
  • Escalate a child-safety concern.
  • Refer serious matters to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

The action taken will depend on the circumstances and severity of the issue.

5Serious reports may receive immediate action

Some situations cannot wait for the normal moderation process.

We may take urgent protective action where a report suggests:

  • A child may be at immediate risk.
  • There is credible threat of serious violence.
  • Child sexual exploitation or abuse may be involved.
  • Someone may be at imminent risk of serious self-harm.
  • Serious criminal activity may be taking place.

Protective action may be taken before a full investigation is completed.

6Will the person know I reported them?

We will not ordinarily tell another user who submitted a report.

However, there may be limited circumstances where information must be disclosed because of legal obligations, safeguarding requirements or an investigation by an authorised authority.

7Please report honestly

Reports must be made in good faith.

Do not use the reporting system to:

  • Harass another user.
  • Target a competitor.
  • Attempt to remove legitimate criticism.
  • Manipulate competition results.
  • Submit knowingly false allegations.

Making a report that turns out not to breach our rules is not itself misuse. We want people to report genuine concerns.

8What if I disagree with Castglo's decision?

Where available, you may be able to request a review or submit a complaint if you believe we handled a report incorrectly or took inappropriate action against your account.

We will consider the information available and review the decision where appropriate.

9Preserve your own records

For serious incidents, it may be useful to keep information such as:

  • Usernames.
  • Dates and times.
  • URLs or links.
  • Relevant correspondence.
  • Screenshots of ordinary abusive messages or behaviour.

However, never download or redistribute suspected child sexual abuse material.

10Reporting helps everyone

A report does more than protect one person. It can help us identify harmful behaviour before someone else experiences it.

If you see something unsafe, inappropriate or suspicious: report it. We'll look into it.
